It goes without saying, I’d love you to come along to my studio so I can get some great headshot photos for your portfolio.
Whether you are an actor or model, or even a business wanting corporate headshots, first impressions are so important. It’s a good idea to have a good look around for a headshot photographer to make sure your final choice is the right one for you.
Actor or model headshots are generally updated every couple of years, unless your child is a model, in which case you will need updates every six months. So you want to make sure you are going to love the photos. This is where I come in!
A good headshot isn’t just about taking a nice sharp image. When a casting director is sifting through portfolios, they will be looking for an image that stands out. Emotional connection plays a big part of this, and how your personality comes through in the image. How a person feels when they look at your photo can be the difference between getting the job or not.

What to expect from a Headshot Photoshoot
Before The Shoot
Once you have made contact with me, we will have a chat about what it is you are looking for.
Specifically what the headshots will be used for, and how you want to come across in the images. Once we have established that, we can talk about styling and which package best suits your requirements.
I have a range of backdrops available, and different editing techniques so we can tailor the styling of the photoshoot to suit your requirements.

During The Shoot
First and foremost I'll stick the kettle on, we can have a brew and re-cap our objective for the headshot photoshoot.
Depending on which package you have chosen, the session will last thirty minutes to an hour. There will be an opportunity for you to change outfits or look (again depending on the package selected). During the session I will be asking you questions, getting to know you and trying to put you at ease. I'm actually really looking forward to getting to know you a little bit. One of the many things I love about my job as a headshot photographer!
The packages I offer don't include hair and make-up, however if this is something you where interested in please let me know and I can tailor a package just for you.
After The Shoot
Once we have finished taking headshot photos, we will say our goodbyes and I will begin the editing process.
The digital images will be uploaded in to private bespoke gallery. I will send you a link and password and you will be able to sign in to view your edited portraits. You will have a few options to choose from and will be able to let me know which images you would like.These images will then be made available for you to download. All from the comfort of your own home.

Personally, when I'm spending my cash, I like to see exactly what I'm getting for my money. With that in mind, the only thing you pay for upfront, is the session fee.
The session fee includes everything listed below, secures your session, and ensures I don't take another booking that day so it's non-refundable.

Wall Art
After your family photoshoot, you will have the option to purchase a digital image package or wall art should you wish. I have a selection of samples in my East Grinstead studio so you can check the professional quality of the artwork that I offer.
All my artwork and prints are ordered from an award winning printing lab for professional photographers. Not only have I chosen this lab for the great quality products they offer, but for every order I place with them they will commit to planting a tree to help replace the wood and energy used in construction of that product! So many of us are looking for ways to make our daily life more earth-friendly and so I wanted to offer a product that was not only beautiful but sustainable too.
I offer digital packages as well as prints, and a beautiful memory keep sake box which I think makes a lovely alternative to a photo album.
