East Grinstead is very close to the West Sussex, East Sussex, Kent, and Surrey borders, just ten miles from Gatwick. So my photography studio is really easy to reach especially if you are coming from Brighton, Tunbridge Wells, Haywards Heath, Crawley, Redhill or Croydon.

Just south of London, it’s a quick twenty-minute jaunt from Gatwick Airport. Getting here is a breeze, whether you’re cruising in via the M25, A22, A26, or A264. Plus, there’s a direct train from London Victoria that makes the trip seamless.
When you arrive, don’t miss the East Grinstead High Street, famous for its medieval architecture. This area flaunts one of the longest continuous rows of 14th-century timber buildings in England. It’s a visual treat! The High Street is dotted with quaint boutiques, cosy bakeries, and inviting cafes, making it an ideal spot for a coffee break and a leisurely wander.
East Grinstead proudly hosts the Bluebell Railway, a heritage line that features vintage steam trains and carriages. It’s a delightful way to spend an afternoon, especially if you’ve got kids in tow. Conveniently, it’s just a stone’s throw from the East Grinstead train station, which connects directly to London Victoria, making it a must-visit.
