I work from my cosy little photography studio located off the main London Rd in East Grinstead, West Sussex. Families travel from across Surrey and Kent for relaxed photography sessions designed to feel easy from start to finish.

I’ve been photographing babies in those first few weeks since 2019, with families coming to my cosy East Grinstead studio from across West Sussex, Surrey and Kent.
Everything is baby-led, and safety always comes first. We take our time, follow your baby’s lead, and allow for feeds, cuddles and the odd reset when needed — because real babies don’t run on a schedule.
This isn’t a conveyor-belt photoshoot.
It’s a calm, guided experience where you can sit down, have a cuppa, and know your baby’s in safe hands.

Before Your Session – Planning Around Your Due Date
We’ll pencil in your session around your due date, with flexibility once baby arrives. I’ll guide you through what to bring (spoiler: not much) and how to prepare.
During the Session – Calm, Baby-Led and Unhurried
Newborn sessions last up to 4 hours, allowing time for feeding, settling and cuddles. Everything is baby-led and completely unhurried.
After Your Session – A Relaxed Viewing Experience
You’ll return for a relaxed viewing appointment where you can choose your favourite images — with no pressure to purchase what you don’t love.
Hi, I’m Hazel
A newborn and dog photographer based in East Grinstead, working from my cosy home studio.
I’ve specialised in newborn photography since 2019, keeping sessions calm, baby-led and never ever rushed.
I’m down-to-earth, straight-talking and very patient — which definitely comes in handy. They say never work with children or animals… but here we are.
Everything moves at your baby’s pace, with time for feeds, cuddles and settling.
At home, it’s just me and my bulldog Molly, our houseplants and the music on probably a bit too loud.
